The Desktop Reference Tool is a simple and handy fully customizable desktop reference tool that we have created that lets you jump right to the information you are seeking. This tool was originally designed for private use; however, in the spirit of global citizenship and freedom of access to information, it is now provided to everyone completely free of charge, obligation, spam, and spyware.

The Tool, installed on your local Windows XP desktop, brings together several web forms that any professional will use frequently, such as a Dictionary, Thesaurus, and Web Search, among others, to provide you direct access to the information you are seeking, without having to navigate through all the marketing fluff and introduction pages.

To use, type your search criteria in the appropriate field and hit [Enter]. Your search results or will pop-up in a new web page.

Before you begin, you will need to register to create an account so that we can save your custom settings. If you do not want to register and use our basic non-customizable version, proceed to the setup page.
After you have registered, or if you do not want a customizable tool, visit our setup page for instructions to install your Desktop Reference Tool.
Give it a try: go here and login with "demo" as username and password. Your experiece is better once you have the Tool installed on your desktop, but the demo will at least let you check out look and feel and to browse around the customization features.
